I know I've been unusually quiet, but I've been dealing with family business and without the laptop for a few days.  Right now, I'm dealing with connectivity issues as well.  Too bad, like Howie Rose, I couldn't get Steve Mears to fill in for me.  I should check on it next time!

So, one loss to Sidney and Company, and one skin-of-their teeth win against the Devils.  The first loss was basically expected (by me), I was sitting on the edge of the couch for last nights win, biting my nails.  This is a two fold happy dance.  One for Ted to get the team back on track and back on the win side of the sheet, and one to keep Marty away from his 500th win.  To have Ricky, the man who will topple him, keep him from getting his milestone is just priceless.

Please understand, however, that I really do love Brodeaur.  So it is somewhat bittersweet for me to say this.  But I'm happy as a clam to know he won't get that number with Ricky in the opposite net.

Sorry Marty.  Enjoy the win Ricky.  Now, onto the next game boys!  Keep the momemtum going.  It will make the holiday's that much sweeter.
